You may have heard me say that in my car, I am a rock star--I love to sing along with the radio or a cd. I hate talking on the radio. I don't listen to a commercial if I don't have to and I NEVER listen to talk radio programs. So tonight I had to laugh when I pulled up behind a car with a license plate frame that said

Might just have to purchase myself one of those!!

Happy Birthday Maren!

Fourteen years ago today I became the mother of a sweet little girl. Gary & I were so happy to find out that, yes, she really was a girl--and that meant new pink clothes, and pink ribbons, and pink headbands, and pink shoes...you get the idea. Fast forward to today and I find a sweet young woman. Maren is beautiful inside and out. She's smart, caring, friendly and sensitive. I love having a daughter to share girl stuff with.

Welcome Home Elder (Cameron) Hatch!

We were so glad to be at the airport last night to welcome home our nephew/cousin from his mission in Portugal. He looks good in his new European cut suit! He looks a lot like his dad to me--more than before, but his laugh and smile are still the same! He even got to meet his niece, Brooke, for the first time. His mom, dad, & brother were able to go over to Portugal and pick him up. They spent a few days traveling around the country before returning last night. Gathered at the airport was a happy crowd of sisters, grandma, aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends. Even more were waiting at home in Riverton.
