Oh my gosh, I laughed when I saw this. In the last week, our smoke alarms have actually gone off twice in the middle of the night. Apparently there was no fire, but it went off. A few nights later, we had one chirping for a battery. What did I do to anger the smoke alarm gods??
I know that the smoke alarm gods aren't interested in burnt offerings. Maybe they are trying to drive the humans out of the house (like in Poltergeist).

ReplyDeleteThat is the worst. And how come my kids can sleep right through it, even when I accidently make the alarm go off, and I can't?
